About Kara Kurcz

Before launching her production company Motiv8 Media, founder Kara Kurcz got her start in television on the long running Fox series, “America’s Most Wanted”, where she worked her way up to producer and eventually directed reenactments. She is an established multi cam and hidden camera director both for TV and Commercials. Her refreshing approach to documentary interviews has be praised in TV Guide, People Magazine and on Fox News. In addition, she has appeared on several media outlets including, MSNBC and NBC’s Extra. Other networks she has Executive Produced projects for include, TNT, Lifetime and History. Her directing credits include networks such as Fox, E!, TruTV, Lifetime and TNT. She also oversaw several series as Director and/or Executive Producer for Zoo Productions including the critically acclaimed 3rd season of Spike’s Joe Schmo.

Kurcz also recognizes the importance and power of the web and has been involved with developing several integrative and interactive programming options with corporations across the country and networks such as NBC. Most recently Kara directed the Motiv8 produced campaigns for AARP and mom.me.
